Environmental policy

Keeping in mind our connection to the environment, through manufacturing of automobile parts, we commit ourselves to further environmental conservation in all production activities, while aiming to be a company in harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

Conduct Guidelines

1. By understanding the impact of our business activities on the environment, we set technically and economically feasible environmental targets and continue to improve our environmental management system, while still giving consideration to our products.
2. We conform to relevant environmental laws as well as other requirements to which we have agreed, set our own control standards bearing in mind our co-existence with the local community, and prevent environmental pollution.
3. We strive towards improved technology, manufacturing capacity and management capability in each area of our business activities, and contribute to environmental conservation by taking initiative in resource and energy conservation.
4. We reduce the generation of industrial waste through increasing the material yield and improving production processes, while carrying out appropriate industrial waste management and disposal, and continuing our recycling efforts.
5. Through environmental education and in-house activities, we ensure that all associates understand our environmental policy and information.
6. Our environmental policy is promoted broadly outside of the company.

Aiming to be a company that society wants to exist, and in order to be trusted by the customer and the community, we will not only observe laws and regulations, but also take initiative in respecting others and acting for environmental conservation. We will also contribute to the community and maintain a fair and sound business relationship with our customers. We will always take action based on our "Genuineness," "Ingenuity" and "Enthusiasm."

Environmental efforts

Honda Lock ranks environmental efforts as an important challenge and will promote environmental activities in all production activities.

For example, we control the output of waste and environmental pollutants, keep data on the energy consumption of each plant, and take energy conservation measures. Moreover, we are trying to reduce substances with environmental impact through in-house activities with the slogan "symbiosis with local community."
